The 100 Years of Magic Celebration kicked off on October 1, 2001 and pays tribute to Walt with special events, new attractions and dazzling entertainment at all four Theme Parks - Magic Kingdom® Park, the Disney-MGM Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park and Epcot®.

The hub of the celebration is the Disney-MGM Studios, which has unveiled a new icon - a 12-story Sorcerer Mickey hat and has added a special Walt Disney attraction featuring never-before-seen memorabilia from the Disney archives. Make plans now to visit during this very special occasion.

Magical tales and bold new adventures await you at the Magic Kingdom® Park. Seven enchanted lands lead the young and the young at heart to excitement, fantasy and fun.

Return to a simpler era on Main Street, U.S.A. Relive childhood dreams in Fantasyland with favorite Disney classics, then share the American spirit in Liberty Square. In Frontierland, plunge down Splash Mountain with Br’er Rabbit or challenge an ancient Indian legend in a runaway mine car at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Journey down mysterious rivers on the Jungle Cruise or fly The Magic Carpets of Aladdin in Adventureland. In Tomorrowland, pilot your own space cruiser in a new interactive attraction - Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin or zoom through space on Space Mountain.

Sail through the fury of the North Sea on Norway’s Maelstrom and take a historic cruise through Mayan and Aztec civilizations on Mexico’s El Rio del Tempo.

Animal Kingdom

Live the adventure at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, alive with creatures who inhabit our world and imagination.

In DinoLand USA, a rescue mission takes you back 65 million years on the DINOSAUR ride, where the only thing between you and extinction is a seatbelt!

Travel to Africa to experience Kilimanjaro Safaris, a ride that transports you into the African Savanna. You’ll be surrounded by free-roaming wildlife as you join in the chase for poachers!
